Carnations

I wore this dark rainy day a celluloid brooch I have found some time ago. Under the clear sheet there is a faded, brownish photo (the vendor told me it’s a tiny etching, but I don’t know, I think it’s more probably a black and white photo, but I’m not sure), of carnations in a vase. Such a melancholy image. The background is a Fire King jadeite small plate, also a flea market find.
